Will the airbag light go off after writing the clear file?
Yes, provided the module has no hardware damage and the sensors, seat belt pretensioners and airbags connected to it are intact. The clear dump removes the stored crash events; write it to the EEPROM with a suitable programmer, refit the module and clear the codes with a scan tool.
How do I know that a file matches my ECU?
Compare the hardware number and software number printed on the ECU label (or read by your tool) with the numbers in the product title and attributes. They must match exactly; a different software version is a different file. If you are not sure, send us the numbers and a photo of the label before buying.
How is the file delivered?
Immediately after payment the file appears in your account under Downloads and a link is sent by e-mail. The file stays in your account, so you can download it again later. Files are delivered as ZIP archives containing the read exactly as it came from the unit.
