About this file

Description

VAG flash container (FRF) for part number 03C906016BA with software index 9065. An FRF is not a dump of an EEPROM or flash chip; it is the factory flash file you load with an ODIS or VCP type tool over the diagnostic port.

Before flashing, read the ECU identification and confirm the part number is 03C906016BA and that 9065 is the index you want. Flashing an FRF is the usual way to update software or to recover a unit that still communicates after a failed update. It does not change immobiliser data, and a unit that no longer responds on the diagnostic port needs a bench method instead.

See original vs virgin vs FRF and what an ECU file is for more.

03C906016BA 9065 FRF FILE is an original FRF flash container for VAG (Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat) part number 03C906016BA, software version 9065: the factory software for the engine ECU carrying this part number. The file is supplied exactly as read from the unit, without alterations.

Typical use: flashing the control unit with the factory software over OBD with ODIS, VCP or another VAG flashing tool, or extracting the original calibration data. Before writing the file, confirm that your unit carries the same part number as this listing; writing a file to a different unit can damage the module.

After secure checkout the file is available for instant download from your AutoECUFile account, and it stays there for later downloads. Need another version, or a file that is not listed? Send us a file request and we will source it for you.
